Intertrade Security Distributors Port Elizabeth, hosted Technoswitch’s Technical Manager Hendrik Cloete this week , as he presented 5 days of SAQCC approved training courses to local installation companies. No less than eight Port Elizabeth based businesses attended the two courses , covering both installation and commissioning disciplines, culminating in both practical and written examinations.
“The response and interest shown by the local industry in the SAQCC approved courses , will certainly see us hosting more of these events in the near future” says Paul van Vuuren, Technical Manager for ISD, adding that “ Our aim to provide solutions to the market place doesn’t stop at the selling of hardware across the counter, as our philosophy of service and solutions delivery includes that of ensuring our customers obtain the best training and support possible”
This week sees the first of at least three to four fire training weeks being set aside for 2017 , with courses being planned for in both East London and George, the locations of ISD’s two other branches. Training courses can also be tailored to the needs of individual customers , depending on the needs and disciplines of each installation company.
